Big celebration for the 100th anniversary of the historic Vinavil plant in Villadossola, which opened its doors to the public on Saturday, September 9.
"A factory that represents the history of Italy, but also the history of our family," explaines Marco Squinzi, Mapei CEO and president of Vinavil, who was present at the anniversary ceremony together with Veronica Squinzi (Mapei CEO), Simona Giorgetta (member of the group's Board of Directors), Laura Squinzi, president of Mapei, and Piedmont Region Councillor Matteo Marnati (Environment, Energy, Innovation, Research Department).
"Almost thirty years ago," Marco Squinzi continued, "Mapei chose to acquire the Villadossola and Ravenna plants in order to reinforce the production capacity of resins that are fundamental for the manufacture of its products. Today Vinavil is recognized worldwide as an example of a modern company, offering diversified and innovative solutions for industry and consumers, while respecting the environment and the safety of people."
